Do you teach lessons?

Yes! I am insured as a Freelance Instructor. I am able to take on horses for groundwork, ridden work, and training to be ridden under saddle (backing).

When and where do you teach?

I’ll drive anywhere within 90 minutes of Oxford, UK. Please see the calendar for my availability.

How do I book?

Use the calendar and contact form above to book in for a lesson. If you want to talk to me before booking in please use the Contact page via the button below.

What kit do I need?

For groundwork: all you will need is a headcollar and lead rope, maybe a schooling whip. For ridden work you will need tack that is fitted for your horse.

I ask that anyone I teach wears appropriate footwear and a current standard safety hat.

A safe, enclosed area to work in is required.

What does it cost?

Lessons start at £15/hr not including travel.

Fuel charge: £0.15 per mile

Legacy Clients: if you have had lessons with me prior to April 2024 then you are a Legacy Client and I will honour the previous rate per hour. The fuel charge still applies for travel.

What can you teach?

I can teach Liberty, ground work, basic trick training, flatwork, and mindful riding. I love doing groundwork and ‘problem solving’.

I am able to assist with backing/preparation for ridden work.

I currently do not teach jumping.
