Training

Do you teach lessons?

Yes! I am insured as a Freelance Instructor. I am able to take on horses for groundwork, ridden work, and training to be ridden under saddle (backing).

What does it cost?

Lessons start at £25/hr not including travel.

Fuel charge: £0.15 per mile

What can you teach?

I can teach Liberty and ground work, dressage, and mindful riding.

I am able to assist with backing/preparation for ridden work.

I currently do not teach jumping.

What kit do I need?

For groundwork: all you will need is a headcollar and lead rope, maybe a schooling whip. For ridden work you will need tack that is fitted for your horse.

I ask that anyone I teach wears appropriate footwear and a current standard safety hat.

For all lessons: a safe, enclosed area to work in is required.

When and where do you teach?

I’ll drive anywhere within 90 minutes of Oxford, UK. Please see the calendar for my availability.
